Job Description
Maternity support workers assist with the care of mothers and newborns, providing physical and emotional support during the postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with infant care (feeding, diaper changes)
- Supporting mothers with postnatal recovery
- Providing emotional support
- Coordinating with medical staff
Qualifications
- QQI Level 5 in care-related fields
- Previous experience with maternal or newborn care is preferred
