Job Description/Overview:
As a Maternity Support Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing continuity of care to patients. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that high standards of maternity care are delivered consistently. This role is contracted and involves a range of responsibilities that support maternity services within the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide support and care to patients throughout their maternity journey
– Assist the midwifery team in delivering maternity services
– Help ensure continuity of care for patients
Qualifications:
– Relevant qualification or experience in maternity support
Experience:
– Previous experience in maternity or healthcare support roles is preferred
Skills:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work within a team and support the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals
