Job Description/Overview:
Join Barclays as a Software Engineer – Salesforce, where you will lead the transformation of our digital landscape through innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software that serves our customers and colleagues, utilising various engineering methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver high-quality software using industry-standard programming languages and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
– Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
– Participate in code reviews, foster a culture of code quality, and promote knowledge sharing.
– Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to the organisation’s technical communities.
– Adhere to secure coding practices to protect sensitive data.
– Implement effective unit testing to ensure code reliability and readability.
Skills & Qualifications:
– Required:
– Hands-on Salesforce experience.
– UI/UX design experience.
– Test-driven development experience.
– Preferred:
– Salesforce certifications.
– Test automation experience.
– Ability to translate user requirements into functional Salesforce software solutions.

– Provide solutions to complex issues and advise leaders on escalated matters.
