Job Description/Overview:
The Continental Motel & Dining Lounge is looking for a Kitchen Helper to assist with kitchen duties. This role involves cleaning, sanitising, and preparing food as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
– Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
– Handle and store cleaning products safely.
– Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and other storage areas.
– Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
– Sharpen kitchen knives.
– Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
– Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits.
Qualifications:
– No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience:
– Will train; no prior experience required.
Skills:
– Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
