Job Description/Overview:
The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Research Nurse to join their team to work on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research. The role involves collaboration with the Chief Investigator, Professor S. Sebastian, and provides an opportunity to work in cutting-edge clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide high-quality nursing care to patients involved in clinical research.
– Manage the setup, conduct, and monitoring of clinical trials.
– Collaborate with the research team to ensure compliance with trial protocols and regulatory requirements.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clinical trials and patient care.
– Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance patient care in research settings.
Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
– Experience in clinical research is advantageous.
– Good knowledge of IBD or a willingness to learn.
Experience:
– Previous nursing experience in a clinical research environment or related medical field.
Skills:
– Excellent organisational and communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
– Strong attention to detail, particularly with research protocols and patient data.
