Key responsibilities
- You assemble raw materials, weigh and mix them and carry out measurements on the pH value, temperature or viscosity of the mass
- They produce heat shield blanks, demould them and send them for drying
- You are responsible for the settings and monitoring of the pouring device, freezer and dryer systems and may need to adjust or create new setting parameters/programs
- You load and unload kilns, operate them and record temperature control rings using common measuring instruments
- You operate the CNC cutting and grinding machine
- You are responsible for ensuring quality in the manufacturing process and, if necessary, in the final inspection of the heat shields by determining surface deviations, dimensional accuracy and structural deviations using visual, acoustic and geometric measuring methods
- You carry out material transport, system maintenance and mold cleaning by hand or with the robot cleaning system
Qualifications
- Completed training in a skilled trade
- Professional experience in mechanical engineering or crafts
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts
- Physical suitability for frequent handling of components up to 25kg
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Teamwork and flexibility
