Job Description/Overview:
The Child Caregiver will be responsible for supervising and caring for children in a private home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision
– Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
– Discipline children according to parents’ methods
– Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
– Maintain records of daily activities and health information
– Organise activities such as games and outings for children
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
– Supervise children’s rest periods and assist with homework
– Provide emotional support and ensure children’s well-being
Qualifications:
– Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
– Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Pay: $18.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
