Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our Substance Misuse Team at HMP Elmley. You will assist in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, engaging with them holistically and promoting their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide physical care according to written care plans.
– Engage with patients to address their physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
– Support health promotion activities and assist patients in achieving optimal health.
– Work unsupervised and as part of the Integrated Healthcare Service.
Qualifications:
– Effective communication skills and the ability to respond sensitively to patient needs.
– A commitment to equal opportunities and understanding of professional boundaries.
Experience:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but training will be provided.
Rating: 3.6 out of 5 stars
Pay: £26,071 – £27,674 a year
Skills:
– Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work with diverse patient groups and respect individual rights.
