Job Description/Overview
The Associate Lecturer will be responsible for providing lectures, seminars, and advisory services for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The role involves teaching across two ten-week terms (Autumn and Spring), with modules including Intermediate Greek A, Beginners Latin B, and Introductory Sanskrit. The role requires the creation of new module materials where necessary, as well as examining students and providing extended essay supervision and personal tutoring.
Key Responsibilities
– Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in scheduled modules
– Conduct seminars, classes, and personal tutoring
– Create module materials as required
– Supervise Extended Essays for undergraduate students
– Examine students, including those from other institutions if necessary
Qualifications
PhD in a relevant field is required.
Experience
Experience teaching to a high academic standard is essential.
