Job Description/Overview:
The Truck Driver will handle long-haul trucking duties, including mountain driving, customer service, and vehicle inspections. The role involves working as part of a team, managing cargo, and ensuring vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
– Load and unload goods
– Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
– Perform brake adjustments
– Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
– Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
– Demonstrate professionalism in customer service
Qualifications:
– Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Experience:
– Will train
