Job Description/Overview:
The Family Caregiver will provide personal care and companionship to clients in their home. Duties include administering medications, assisting with personal hygiene, preparing meals, and performing light housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
– Administer bedside and personal care
– Administer medications
– Assist with bathing and other personal hygiene tasks
– Assist in regular exercise
– Change non-sterile dressings
– Feed or assist in feeding
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Provide companionship
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Personal Support Worker Certificate preferred
Experience:
– 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience
Skills:
– Dependability, flexibility, and organisation
– Ability to provide personal care and companionship
– Reliable and organised
