Job Description/Overview:
The Delivery Driver will operate and drive vehicles to pick up and deliver items. Responsibilities include customer service, vehicle inspection, and managing trip records.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items
– Provide professional customer service
– Follow directions and read maps
– Record trip information, including mileage and fuel costs
– Handle payments for goods
– Perform vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
– 1 to less than 7 months of experience
Skills:
– Professionalism in customer service
– Ability to follow directions and use maps
– Basic record-keeping skills
– Vehicle maintenance knowledge
