Job Description/Overview:
2728449 Ontario Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver for various locations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading goods, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Load and unload goods
– Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
– Perform brake adjustments
– Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
– Perform preventive maintenance
– Receive and relay information to central dispatch
– Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– AZ class license
– Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
– Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Experience:
– Will train
Skills:
– Knowledge of driver logbook and inspection reports
– Experience with long-haul trucking
