Job Description/Overview:
KSS Transport Ltd. is looking for a Truck Driver to join their team. The role involves operating a truck, handling cargo, and performing vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
– Load and unload goods
– Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
– Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
– Receive and relay information to central dispatch
– Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
Qualifications:
– Valid Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Experience:
– Will train
Skills:
– Knowledge of documentation such as driver logbook and inspection report
– Experience with long-haul transportation
– Ability to handle weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
