Job Description/Overview:
Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operate and drive vans and light trucks, and manage records of items received and delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items
– Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks
– Receive and relay information to central dispatch
– Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products
– Keep a record of items received and delivered
– Prepare, package, and restock goods
– Transport and handle dangerous goods
– Accept and deliver messages and packages for events
– Load and unload goods
– Sort packages for delivery
– Follow directions and read maps
– Use maps and other trip planning aids
– Record trip information such as mileage and fuel costs
– Pay and receive payments for goods
Qualifications:
– No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience:
– Experience an asset
Skills:
– Attention to detail
– Organisational skills
