Construction Project Manager

Location: Stoney Creek, ON

Job Description/Overview:

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and coordinate construction activities, manage budgets, and ensure quality control on-site. This role involves working with subcontractors and preparing contracts, schedules, and reports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Coordinate subcontractor activities

– Plan and organise daily operations and construction schedules

– Prepare and submit budget estimates

– Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and subcontractors

– Establish and implement quality control policies

– Read blueprints and manage construction schedules

– Develop risk management and quality control programs

– Prepare and negotiate contracts

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in a related field

 

Experience:

– 1 to less than 2 years in construction project management

 

Skills:

– Excellent oral and written communication

– Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work in a flexible schedule including days, evenings, shifts, and on-call
