Construction Project Coordinator

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description/Overview: 

The Construction Project Coordinator will manage construction projects from start to finish. This role includes preparing budget estimates, planning and monitoring project schedules, and handling contracts and negotiations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates

– Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress

– Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions

– Operate CAD and other computer software systems

– Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings

– Develop risk management plans

– Oversee data and information analysis

– Prepare reports

– Plan, organise, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

 

Qualifications:

– College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

 

Experience:

– 1 to less than 2 years in a related field

 

Skills:

– Proficiency in CAD and other computer software systems

– Strong organisational and planning abilities

– Effective communication skills
