Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Body Technician to handle various repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles. The role includes replacing parts, repairing bodywork, and preparing vehicles for painting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Clean and maintain the workspace.
– Replace front end, body, and underbody components.
– File, grind, and sand body surfaces for repairs.
– Mask and tape surfaces in preparation for painting.
– Hammer out dents and defects.
– Remove and replace damaged fenders, panels, and grills.
– Apply primers and repaint surfaces.
– Repair or replace interior components and damaged windows.
– Mix paint and match colors.
– Use soldering equipment or plastic filler for repairs.
– Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment.
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience:
– 2 to less than 3 years of experience in automotive body repair.
Skills:
– Proficiency in various repair techniques.
– Ability to operate welding and painting equipment.
– Attention to detail and accuracy.
