Job Description/Overview:
The Heavy Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting materials and well service equipment, ensuring cargo safety, and performing related driving duties. This is a seasonal position with varied shifts including day, evening, and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drive trucks to transport materials and equipment
– Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
– Supervise other truck drivers
Qualifications:
– Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
– Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer trucks, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
– Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years
Skills:
– Experience with straight trucks (4,600kg+ or 10,000 lbs with 3+ axles)
– Provincial/territorial short-haul transportation experience
Salary:
$23.00 to $25.50 per hour (negotiable)
