Job Description/Overview
Busy Bees at Fraser Coast is seeking a creative and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join their team. Key Responsibilities
– Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children’s needs and interests
– Deliver high-quality education programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
– Observe children’s progress and document their learning
– Engage with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication
– Create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment
– Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
Essential Qualifications
– Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
– Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
– First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
Essential Skills and Attributes
– Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS
– Ability to plan and implement educational programs
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Skill in documenting children’s learning and guiding future planning
– Ability to create an inclusive learning environment
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
– Prior experience in early childhood education
– Familiarity with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
– Ongoing engagement in training and development
– Familiarity with software and technology for documentation and communication
