Job Description/Overview:
We are actively recruiting new carers to join our team in Walsall, Dudley, and Sandwell areas. This role involves providing support to adults within the community to maximise their independence. Sponsorship is available only for those currently residing in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support adults with personal care including washing, dressing, bathing, and preparing meals
– Assist with mobility, escorting duties, and outings
– Provide care for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health issues
– Maintain high standards of care and support
– Work on a flexible rota basis, including weekends and evenings
Qualifications:
– Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare background
– Training equivalent to a recognised Level 2 in Health and Social Care is beneficial
– Driving licence and use of own vehicle required; drivers with international licences must acquire a vehicle within 3 weeks of arrival
– Experience with autism, learning disabilities, and dementia preferred
Experience:
– Customer service: 2 years (required)
– Healthcare experience: 2 years (required)
Skills:
– Caring, empathetic, and compassionate nature
– Reliable, flexible, and positive attitude
