Job Description/Overview:
The welder will perform various welding tasks, operating manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment. The work must be performed on-site, with no option for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Interpret welding process specifications.
– Operate welding, brazing, and soldering machines to fabricate or repair metal parts.
– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding manuals.
– Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
– Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
– Perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
– Use hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years.
Skills:
– Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
– Strong hand-eye coordination.
– Effective oral and written communication.
– Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and heavy loads.
