Job Description/Overview
Vancouver Hood Doctors is looking for a skilled warehouse supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, including maintenance, staff training, and inventory management. The role involves working various shifts and contributing to green job initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
– Arrange for maintenance and repair work.
– Organize and maintain inventory.
– Arrange training for staff.
Qualifications
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
– Forklift Operator Certification.
Experience
– 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Skills
– Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and electronic schedulers.
– Strong organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
– Knowledge of safety equipment and gear.
Work Setting
– Repair and maintenance services.
– Warehouse.
– Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
Workplace Information: On-site
Additional Information
Salary: $31.50 hourly / 40 hours per week.
