Job Description/Overview:
Amazon Middle East and NA FZ are seeking motivated and analytical Program Management Interns to join their dynamic and international teams. The internship offers an unforgettable experience, allowing interns to contribute to operational efficiency while gaining valuable skills in data analytics, project management, and stakeholder communication. The role involves supporting Program Managers in tracking actions, conducting deep dives for data insights, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support Program Managers in tracking open actions and analysing processes.
– Conduct ad hoc deep dives to provide data insights useful for decision-making.
– Recommend and execute network improvements.
– Identify process improvement or standardisation opportunities.
– Contribute to innovative, long-term solutions beneficial to the team.
Key Learning Objectives:
– Project Management: Learn key success factors in project implementation and stakeholder management in a complex, international environment.
– Data Analytics: Develop skills to extract and manipulate large datasets, gain insights on simulation models, and master analytics for driving business decisions.
– Soft Skills: Improve communication skills, interact with a wide range of stakeholders, and provide project support using advanced tools.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
– Advanced analytical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
– Curiosity and proactivity to achieve learning and development goals.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
– Previous working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, Asana).
– Prior work experience, especially in a related field.
Experience:
– Previous work experience, such as a summer job or internship, is beneficial but not required.
