Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for a responsible, nurturing, and experienced Nanny to care for our children in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. The right candidate will be patient, creative, and capable of balancing fun activities with structure, while also meeting the children’s daily needs and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, games, and outings to support learning and growth.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, dressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Keep the children’s environment clean and organized, including tidying up after meals and activities.
- Provide homework help and promote educational activities.
- Transport the children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities as needed.
- Maintain open communication with parents about the children’s progress and any concerns.
- Manage nap and bedtime routines.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children (e.g., laundry, cleaning dishes, organizing toys).
- Follow the family’s parenting guidelines and household rules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Nanny, Babysitter, or similar childcare role.
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if driving is required).
- Strong knowledge of child development and appropriate activities for various age groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, dependability, and a true passion for working with children.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
