Job Description/Overview:
We require a full time live-in housekeeper to work in our family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our home.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry, including ironing if required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas such as living rooms, dining areas, and hallways.
- Dispose of trash and recycling properly.
- Organize and clean closets, drawers, and storage areas as requested.
- Replenish household supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
- Assist with occasional deep cleaning projects, such as washing windows, shampooing carpets, and cleaning appliances.
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
- Report any necessary repairs or maintenance needs to the homeowner.
- Occasionally assist with household errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning.
Qualifications needed
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper, Cleaner, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move light to moderate weights.
