Job Description/Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Housekeeper. This is a part time position working Monday to Sunday 0800 – 1200.
In this role you will:
- Carry out housekeeping duties to ensure an excellent level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village
- Observe all health and safety precautions for the protection of residents, staff and visitors
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues
Key Responsibilities
- Clean floors, surfaces, and bathrooms.
- Change linens and towels.
- Do laundry and ironing.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas.
- Dispose of trash and recycling.
- Organize and clean storage areas.
- Restock household supplies.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks.
- Follow cleaning schedules.
- Report maintenance issues.
- Occasionally run errands.
Qualifications needed
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper, Cleaner, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move light to moderate weights.
