Job Description/Overview
As a Staff Product Designer on the Reddit Pro team, you will have a significant impact on designing experiences specifically for businesses and brands, enabling them to engage with Reddit’s vibrant communities. Reddit Pro offers advanced tools to businesses, unlocking the power of over 100k active communities and conversations. This role involves collaborating with designers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and UX Researchers to create innovative experiences that connect businesses with relevant content and communities on Reddit.
Key Responsibilities
– Strategize and design intuitive and scalable solutions for business-oriented experiences on Reddit.
– Execute the design lifecycle from ideation to delivery, balancing innovation with usability.
– Collaborate closely with teams across Consumer and Ads organizations to ensure design alignment.
– Drive consensus across diverse teams and present design solutions to senior leadership.
Qualifications
– 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile application designs.
– Strong storytelling, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to bring others along in the design process.
– Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations, finding clarity and innovative solutions.
– Experience in social or consumer-facing products is a plus.
Experience
– Proven experience in UX/UI design, particularly in creating web and mobile applications.
– Strong product sensibilities and ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive design solutions.
– Experience working in collaborative environments with cross-functional teams.
