Job Description:
As a Senior Engineer at American Express, you’ll join a diverse tech team, working on critical enterprise platforms for global authentication and authorization. You’ll be involved in architecting, coding, and shipping software that impacts customers’ digital lives. The role includes writing code and unit tests, working with APIs, and identifying new technologies. You’ll work in an agile environment, contributing to a team that focuses on innovative solutions for identity and access management.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain global authentication and authorization platforms.
– Work with agile teams, writing code and unit tests.
– Build and maintain APIs, using techniques like REST and gRPC.
– Identify and adopt new technologies.
– Ensure the scalability and availability of production systems.
Qualifications:
– 7+ years of software development experience, particularly with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
– Experience in agile methodologies and scrum teams.
– Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and highly scalable systems.
– Preferred: Experience with Golang, public internet authentication models (JWT, OAuth), and various databases.
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
