Job Description
The Packaging Assistant assists lead technicians, production manager and colleagues in performing production related activities. Additional pay:

Job Responsibilities
- Assisting with Packaging, labelling, capping, applying stickers, shipping etc
- Promote & maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area and facilityby routinely cleaning and sterilizing equipment, including glassware and tools, components andinfrastructure
- Maintain batch production records in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)
- Ensure compliance with SOPs as they relate to daily work activities compliance with regulations to theCannabis Act (Canada)
- Comply with established safe work practices and all company SOPs
- Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude
- Promote and encourage teamwork and open communication
- Communicate production updates and issues to Management on a timely basis
- Communicate complex issues to Management for immediate resolution
- Show respect and care for tools, technical equipment, and production facility
- Work cohesively in a group or independently as required
Qualifications
- Clean criminal record
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be fluent in both spoken and written English
- High school diploma
- Shift work will be required, which could include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Working in a cannabis facility may trigger those with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to odour
- PPE Required: Scrubs, gloves, hairnets, and indoor shoes
