Job Responsibilities
- Clinic Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage clinic staff including physiotherapists, administrative personnel, and support staff. Conduct performance reviews and foster a positive work environment.
- Financial Management: Manage clinic budgets, financial reporting, billing processes, and oversee payroll. Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records.
- Patient Experience: Ensure a high standard of patient care and service. Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback. Implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure the clinic adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and legislative changes.
- Marketing and Business Development: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones. Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and management of clinic supplies and equipment. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Technology and Systems: Manage clinic management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Ensure staff are trained on these systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the clinic’s strategic goals and objectives. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management

- Financial Acumen: Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using clinic management software and a variety of computer software programmes
- Customer Focused: Commitment to providing excellent patient care and improving patient satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency:Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Utilise dental software (Exact) for scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Marketing and Growth: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new patients and to maintain current ones.
- Manage social media and online presence.
- Plan and coordinate community outreach and promotional events.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all relevant practice regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures.
- Education: A relevant tertiary qualification in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
