Job Description/Overview:
Commercebuilder is an eCommerce platform that helps businesses unlock the power of their ERP systems, providing a complete end-to-end digital experience. We are seeking a Remote Technical Customer Success Engineer to provide exceptional customer support and proactively ensure the success of our enterprise clients. You’ll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot, solve problems, and maintain relationships with our customers. This is a highly technical and customer-facing role with an emphasis on understanding web technologies and integrating with WooCommerce.
Key Responsibilities:
– Dive deep into platform issues for enterprise clients and troubleshoot technical problems
– Act as an advocate for the customer internally, ensuring their success on our platform
– Respond to customer inquiries through email-based tickets and live chats
– Document and maintain accurate technical reports and customer interactions
– Support customers using WooCommerce and WordPress integrations
– Collaborate with the development team on complex issues requiring escalation
– Maintain thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, DNS, and browser developer tools
– Contribute to process improvements that enhance customer support and service delivery
Qualifications needed:
– Fluent in English, with strong writing and communication skills
– Understanding of WooCommerce, WordPress, and common web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
– Familiarity with browser developer tools and CLI for handling HTTP requests and responses
– Previous experience in technical support or customer success roles
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong time management skills
– Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges, with a proactive problem-solving attitude
Experience:
– At least 3 years of technical support or customer success experience
– Prior experience with WooCommerce, WordPress, and other eCommerce platforms
– Experience working remotely and communicating asynchronously using tools such as Slack
Skills:
– Expertise in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
– Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
– Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
– Ability to write clear and accessible documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
