Job Description/Overview:
Planning Center, a company supporting over 80,000 churches worldwide, is looking for a skilled iOS Developer to maintain and expand its flagship iOS products. You’ll design new features, refine existing ones, and ensure seamless experiences for our customers. The role involves collaborating with a team that values humility, growth, and customer impact.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain iOS applications for large-scale usage
– Design new features, ensure smooth functionality, and safeguard customer data
– Collaborate with design and development teams
– Review and optimize code for App Store releases
– Use tools like Firebase Crashlytics and Xcode’s Instruments to diagnose and fix bugs
– Stay updated on iOS advancements and their applications to improve user experience
– Participate in code reviews, team collaborations, and continuous learning
Qualifications needed:
– Proven track record of developing large-scale iOS apps
– Expert-level skills in Swift and Objective-C
– Experience with UIKit, Core Data, and other iOS frameworks
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– React Native experience (nice to have)
– Eligible to work in the US
Experience:
– Extensive experience with iOS development and app architecture
– Proven expertise in working with collaborative teams and solving complex technical issues
Skills:
– Expert knowledge of Swift and Objective-C
– Strong grasp of mobile architecture and design patterns
– Collaboration and communication skills to work closely with teams and customers
