Job Overview:
MG Educational Consulting Inc., an Educational Consulting group based in the Boston area, is seeking professional Educational Consultants to join their team. The role involves working directly with college applicants to guide them through the overall college/university application process.
Key Responsibilities:
– Regularly communicate with students to understand and develop their interests and goals.
– Guide students and families throughout the college application process, including course selection, college research, academic and extracurricular activity suggestions, and more.
– Brainstorm college application essay topics and counsel families on college choices.
– Collaborate with team members to complete tasks as needed.
– Address student and family requests in a timely and high-quality manner.
Qualifications:
– Language: Fluent in Mandarin (required) and strong English writing and speaking skills.
– Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with college applicants on the US college application process (preferred but not required).
– Education: Master’s Degree in English, Education, Psychology, or related fields from a US institution, or a Bachelor’s Degree from a US institution with more years of related experience.
