Job Summary:
GuidePoint Security is seeking an experienced Application Security Architect to join our team. In this full-time, remote role, you will be integral in designing and implementing robust application security solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating security within the CI/CD pipeline and DevOps toolchain, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest security standards.
Required Experience
– Strong knowledge of application security architecture and software development, focusing on automation and integrating security within the CI/CD pipeline.
– Deep understanding of Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS), OWASP Top Ten, and other security best practices.
– Familiarity with the attestation process and IDE/CI/CD Pipeline tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo).
– Strong working knowledge of Secure Software Development and automated security testing approaches.
– Experience in building and operating security within CI/CD pipelines and proactive integration of security into the development process.
– Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and cloud security fundamentals, including container-based technologies and infrastructure as code.
– Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Chef).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
– Knowledge of secure coding practices, security assessments, and analysis.
– Experience with application security scanning tools (e.g., Checkmarx, Contrast, Veracode).
– Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment techniques.
– AWS Certifications.
Educational & Professional Credentials
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
– 3-5 years of security engineering or software development experience.
