Job Description/Overview:
Bombay Kitchen is seeking passionate and skilled Cooks/Chefs to join their team at two vibrant restaurant locations in Cairns City and Gordonvale. You will play a vital role in creating delicious meals and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare a variety of dishes according to set menus and recipes
– Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
– Maintain a clean and organised work environment
– Assist with food preparation and plating
– Follow all food safety regulations
Qualifications needed:
– Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen
– Strong understanding of food safety principles (HACCP preferred)
Experience:
– Professional experience in a commercial kitchen required
Skills:
– Excellent knife skills
– Ability to work effectively under pressure
– Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently
– Collaborative team skills
