Job Description/Overview:
We are currently seeking a Machinery Operator to join our team. While a Growsafe Certificate and experience in general tractor operations such as spraying, trimming, leaf plucking, and mowing is considered a bonus, what we are really after is someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn, as comprehensive training will be provided. We use modern equipment (Fendt Tractors) and are looking for motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about contributing to our goal-focused company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various machinery used in viticulture activities, such as spraying, trimming, leaf plucking and mowing in organic and non-organic vineyards.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is used efficiently and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve company objectives and meet client expectations.
- Provide input and feedback to improve operational processes and procedures.
Qualifications needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of machinery operations.
- Growsafe certificate (advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Valid driver’s license.
