Job Description/Overview:
Oddball is looking for a UX Designer to work on a pivotal Federal program positively impacting millions of Americans. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams, handling all aspects of UX, design, and research. The UX Designer will oversee the entire design process from conception to implementation, requiring a mix of design, research, and high-level thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead UX research, including creating research plans, conducting interviews, and problem-solving based on findings.
– Create and use prototypes, wireframes, and data points to arrive at solutions and convey product vision.
– Frame problems clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
– Work with Git Version Control and design 508 compliant solutions.
– Adapt and work within existing design and UX systems.
– Take a consultant mindset to prioritize client and user needs.
– Collaborate in Agile development environments.
– Translate senior leadership directions into actionable steps.
Qualifications needed:
– Extensive experience with UX research and design.
– Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
– Experience working with Git Version Control and designing 508 compliant solutions.
– Ability to adapt to existing UX systems and work in Agile environments.
– Strong communication skills for conveying technical and non-technical information.
Requirements:
– Must be a US Citizen.
– Must be able to attain low-level security clearance.
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree required.
