Job Description/Overview:
Our clients are seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (Diesel Mechanics) to join their teams in various locations. The role involves general servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel vehicles, including diagnostic work and adherence to high workshop standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform general servicing and maintenance of vehicles
– Carry out repairs according to manufacturer specifications
– Document work completed and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
– Rebuild/replace diesel engines, transmissions, and fuel systems
– Maintain clean workshop practices and ensure safety
Qualifications needed:
– Relevant trade qualification
Experience:
– At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
– Truck and bus experience highly regarded
Skills:
– Ability to adhere to WH&S regulations
– Team player with service and diagnostic experience
