Job Description/Overview:
The University of Sydney is seeking an Administrative Assistant for headspace Camperdown. This role involves managing reception and administration tasks to support young people facing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the reception desk and handle incoming calls and email inquiries.
– Schedule appointments for clients seeking support.
– Process Medicare and overseas health insurance billings.
– Perform ad hoc tasks to assist the Clinical Team.
– Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Skills and Experience:
– Experience in a reception or administrative role within a medical or allied health practice.
– Experience processing Medicare or overseas health insurance billing is highly desirable.
– Mental Health First Aid or equivalent certification is highly regarded.
– Ability to comfort and support young people in need.
– Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment.
– Strong phone manners and current Working With Children Check.

– Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
– Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency is required.
