Job Description/Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will provide general office support for the Forrest Community Services team, which offers care to aged care clients. Responsibilities include managing calls, handling data entry, and processing postal and electronic mail. The role involves working in a supportive environment dedicated to providing high-quality care to the elderly.
Key Responsibilities:
– Answering calls and welcoming clients to the office
– Undertaking data entry using relevant software
– Managing incoming and outgoing postal and electronic mail
– Printing, binding, scanning, and filing documentation
Qualifications needed:
– Genuine interest in the aged care industry
– Effective communication skills with clients, family members, and staff
– Previous experience in an administrative support role (experience in aged care or the health sector preferred)
– Relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate IV in Business) is ideal
Experience:
– Previous experience in administrative support is required
– Experience in aged care or the health sector is highly regarded
Skills:
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
– Strong organizational and communication skills
Additional Information:
