Job Description/Overview:  

The Administrative Assistant at 1996809 Alberta Ltd will play a crucial role in organizing daily operations and supporting the management team. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

– Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.  

– Establish and implement policies and procedures  

– Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences  

– Determine and establish office procedures and routines  

– Oversee the classification and rating of occupations  

– Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies  

– Schedule and confirm appointments  

– Manage contracts and training development strategies  

– Answer telephone calls and electronic enquiries  

– Oversee the analysis of employee data and information  

– Compile data, statistics, and other information  

– Oversee preparation of reports  

– Respond to employee questions and complaints  

– Order office supplies and maintain inventory  

– Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures  

– Oversee payroll administration  

– Arrange travel and related itineraries  

– Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas  

– Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems  

– Provide customer service  

– Collaborate with the marketing department to communicate marketing messages  

– Assign, co-ordinate, and review projects and programs  

– Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

 

Qualifications needed:  

– Bachelor’s degree

 

Experience:  

– Experience an asset

 

Skills:  

– Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Windows)  

– Database software, Social Media, QuickBooks  

– Experience in contracts, invoices, project management, and creating charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams
