Job Description/Overview:
GovTact is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The role involves designing user interfaces for custom applications, conducting user research, and collaborating with developers. Candidates must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for custom applications.
– Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
– Conduct user research and usability testing.
– Ensure design consistency and adherence to best practices.
– Collaborate with developers to implement designs.
– Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications Needed:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, Computer Science, or related field.
– Experience: Minimum of 5 years in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio, experience with custom applications.
– Skills: Proficiency in Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma; experience with Angular or React frameworks is preferred.
