Role Overview:
Plaid is seeking a creative Copywriter to join their Brand team. The Copywriter will brainstorm concepts with design, product, and marketing teams and develop original content for web, digital, social, events, and integrated campaigns. This role involves expressing ideas clearly, both in writing and in presentations, brainstorm sessions, and pitches.
Responsibilities:
– Partner with design, marketing, and product teams to create engaging marketing copy for Plaid’s diverse audiences
– Maintain and support Plaid’s brand voice guidelines across all touchpoints
– Collaborate with designers and other copywriters to ensure engaging visuals and copy
– Develop copy for various channels including email, social, events, video, web, and sales collateral
– Identify messaging gaps and strengthen the brand and voice
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience
– Skilled storyteller with perfect grammar
– Ability to adjust brand voice and tone based on audience
– Experience writing for display, social, email, events, and other digital marketing channels
– Experience with short- and long-form content and conceptual campaigns
– Experience with events and experiential marketing
– Ability to apply critical thinking to brand and marketing strategies
– Comfortable with A/B testing and performance-based marketing tests
– Experience creating content for major social platforms
– Experience working with agile teams and quick adaptation
– Experience collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers

Compensation:
– Target base salary: $102,600 – $141,480 per year
– Additional compensation in the form of equity and/or commission
