Job Description/Overview:
GSCC is looking for an experienced Manager, Creative Strategy to lead the Creative & Product Team within the International Digital Hub. This role involves driving the creation of compelling creative concepts to address global climate change, managing a team of six, and collaborating with digital campaigners and experts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide thought leadership on creative approaches to shift audiences
– Promote creative as an active element of strategy and campaign development
– Set strategic vision and growth plans for the Creative & Product team
– Manage the Creative & Product team and ensure timely, original, and compelling creative output
– Lead creative strategy for campaigns and organize production of campaign creative
– Stay on top of creative trends and understand campaign data to design experiments
– Report on the effectiveness of the team’s creative and adjust approaches as needed
– Improve agency and freelancer roster and working methods
– Ensure effective creative production platforms and technologies
– Contribute to capacity building in partner organizations on creative approaches
Qualifications needed:
– Excellent knowledge of using creative in strategic communications campaigns
– Proven experience delivering creative strategies and concepts for large-scale campaigns
– Experience in line managing and developing creative talent
– Proficiency in project management related to content production and creative projects
– Background in a creative area such as video, design, or copywriting is advantageous
– Ability to understand and question digital campaign metrics
– Genuine interest in the mission and values of Meliore Foundation
– Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
– Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
– Commitment to an inclusive and empowering approach to facing climate change
