Job Description/Overview:
We Do Web is seeking freelance writers who can create content for our law firm clients. This role is a remote contract position. We are looking for candidates who can write a minimum of 5000 words in a given week. Writing assignments are available on an as-needed basis, but many of our writers receive weekly or bi-weekly assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create high-quality content that sells and informs our law firm clients.
– Consistently meet weekly deadlines.
Qualifications needed:
– Demonstrated ability to create content that sells and informs.
– Ability to consistently meet weekly deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Familiarity with the concept of user intent.
– Experience writing content for law firms.
– Experience writing content for other service-based industries.
Experience:
– Experience in writing content for law firms or other service-based industries such as medicine, dentistry, and construction trades (HVAC, roofing, plumbing) is preferred.
Skills:
– Strong writing and editing skills.
– Ability to research and understand complex topics.
Compensation:
– Pay starts from $22.00 per hour.
How to Apply:
– Submit your resume, preferred rate (per word), and 2 to 4 writing samples. We prefer content samples written for service-based industries, but any samples that demonstrate your ability to write high-quality content that sells a product or service will do.
Additional information:
– Successful candidates will be asked to attend a 1-hour training session to review best practices. They will then be asked to complete paid assignments during a probationary period that usually lasts a few weeks. During this period, we will decide if we are a good fit for one another.
