Job Description/Overview:
Integrated in our Product & Services Department, you will be part of Treasury & Derivatives Value Chain. As a team member, the candidate will contribute to analyze the requirements and process from the business users, design and test the new or existing building blocks and participate in the definitions of the overall solutions. You will work in agile organization with a multidisciplinary team to deliver and maintain solution for different stakeholders (Dealing Room, Back office, Relationship Manager …)
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and understand the business requirements and translate those into functional requirements
- Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze interdependencies of functional and non-functional Requirements
- Create source/target mappings
- Create functional solution designs and gather the estimation costs
- Create and support conceptual and logical data models
- Collaborating with architects, developers, testers, business analysts and product owners to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, such as PI, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Understand the Enterprise Architecture methodology / concept
- Ensure technical team have everything in their hands to succeed
- Define acceptance criteria together with the business stakeholders
- Support stakeholders during their testing phase and analyze the reported issues and identify bugs, issues and change requests
- Support and advise stakeholders in their data governance and management
- Collaborate with stakeholders on business and technical side
Qualifications needed
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent certification in IT. A bachelor’s degree with the corresponding experience is also accepted.
- You have a 5+ years of experience in banking industry. An experience in a similar professional domain is considered as a strong added value.
- You demonstrate creativity and initiative while respecting team-work and common objectives.
- You are expected to promptly address urgent request and you are effective in delivering within the agreed deadlines.
- You show a good understanding of processes in the banking plus general knowledge of the regulatory environment shaping finance industry.
- You have an excellent picture in products related to dealing room activities and financial contracts (Forex, OTC Options, Money Market, Interest Rates Swap …)
- You demonstrate a strong client focus and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English & French
- Knowledge of Temenos T24 (FOREX, MM, SWAP, DX, REPO) is considered as a strong asset.
- Intellectual thoroughness and likes to get things right
- Strong analytical and summarizing skills
- Experience with tools for requirements management, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar software
- Experience with Data Modeling (Hopex is a great plus)
- Knowledge of testing
- Ease of contact and team-spirit
