Job Description/Overview:
Being the driver of the sales process for Finalrentals. From first contact, to demonstrations and onboarding new partners, you will make an impact by growing this successful startups business by expanding the customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically identify leads on a global scale, make contact, and start the sales process
- Contact leads provided by the sales support team and identify your own leads
- Follow up direct contacts from potential car hire partners
- Take platform demonstrations to sales completions, hitting targets for conversions per month
- Travel internationally, representing Finalrentals at events, conferences and trade shows
- Take a long term view on the sales process, and adjust it to make it as effective as possible
- Work closely with the founder, give feedback, and help make the platform and the team the best it can be
- Work closely with the customer team, to ensure a seamless transition from sales, to business as usual
- Interact with our international teams

A previous sales role in a startup or similar would be great, however similar roles in sales and account management would also be beneficial.

It is essential that you will be driven by hitting targets, sales success and winning new business. This also means that you will be used to reaching out, managing rejections and staying positive.
But don’t worry if that doesn’t sound 100% like you – we still want to hear from you, as we know people with great transferable skills and a good attitude also succeed in the startup world.
This is a growing tech company, so it will be fast-paced and there will sometimes be long hours to get things done, however the founder wants to bring you on the growth journey with the company, and will ensure you are rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
How to Apply:
Our recruitment process is made up of 4 steps:
Stage 1 – Submitting your application. We are more than pieces of paper but we will need to see a CV as a base point. If you feel that a CV does not truly reflect your experience or relevancy for the role, tell us. You will have an opportunity to upload any other supporting information you wish. This might be a cover letter or even a video introducing yourself. There is no requirement to do this but we are keen to consider people regardless of experience where we are given a reason to do so.
Stage 2 – Intro call with our recruitment partners at Talent Tent. This will cover your background, motivations, and communication, along with a chance to get to know the role better and answer your questions. We may also ask you to complete some online assessments at this point.
Stage 3 – Interview with the Founder that will include some situational and strength based questions (60 minutes).
Stage 4 – Final interview that will involve you having prepared something. This will be dependent on how things went at stage 2 as to what we ask you to prepare. We might ask you to prepare a 5 minute slide deck on your approach to a task or a problem or it might involve you pre-preparing answers to a set of questions or themes. (60 minutes)
