Job Description/Overview:
apaR Hair Studio, an award-winning boutique hair studio in Augustine Heights, is seeking a Senior Hairdresser (full/part-time) and a 1st or 2nd year Apprentice to join our vibrant team. We specialize in delivering luxury, one-on-one hair services and creating genuine connections with our clients. Our studio prioritizes personal growth, work-life balance, and a fun, encouraging work environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Crafting beautiful, on-trend color and style cuts tailored to each client’s preferences
– Providing a full-service salon experience, ensuring no client leaves with wet or unwashed hair
– Offering personalized one-on-one client journeys
– Recommending the best services and hair care products for each client’s needs
– Contributing to a supportive, family-like team environment
Qualifications needed
– For Senior Hairdresser: Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
– Must love working with blondes and have a passion for foiling, balayage, and creative toning
– Advanced skills in all cutting styles and techniques, including confidence in short hair
– Must be an Australian Resident
Experience:
– For Senior Hairdresser: 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
Skills:
– Positive and friendly attitude
– Passion for creating beautiful hair and a love for all things color
– Confidence in cutting and styling techniques
– Ability to thrive in a supportive “family team” environment
