Job Description/Overview:
- Salary range between $90k-120k depending on experience level (higher if CPEng)
- Chance to work independently on a range of different projects
- Based in Auckland CBD, easy access to Britomart train station
Key Responsibilities
As an Intermediate to Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and assessment of various building structures at a larger scale. You will have the opportunity to work on projects from concept to construction, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, including architects, contractors and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure that designs meet regulatory and industry standards.
Qualifications needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in a role here in NZ
- Strong technical skills and a good understanding of relevant codes and standards
- Proficient in structural analysis software & excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for structural engineering and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems
